Chicago CHA Update #7 Grant Studios and Harmonie

American companies aren't the only great source of crafting products. Today I am sharing two non-American paper crafting manufacturers with you, Harmonie a French-Canadian company, and Grant Studios an Australian Company. Both were fairly new to me so I thought I would share a few shots of their artwork and product lines with you.

Grant Studios

Though Grant Studios has some amazing papercrafting products targeting normal scrapbookers and cardmakers like the Grace Taylor collection pictured below, what I really liked about them is their vast offering of unique and fashion forward children's crafts.

My girls and I do a lot of crafting together, and they are a bit beyond pipe cleaners and play dough age. They would love the entire My Studio Girl Product line including these fashion designing stencils and doll kits.

The product they would actually give up their glitter and scratch n' sniff stickers for however, would be the Taggles line below. Slightly reminiscent of the color forms I had as a kid these are much cooler. They are dimensional and reusable, and what's truly impressive is that they are also VIRTUAL. Your daughter can go online and play with Taggles for hours - no purchase needed. She can then print out the Taggles back drops and other items she has created and use them with the real Taggles she already owns. I CAN"T want till these get into stores here stateside - can you say - check stocking stuffers off the list!

Harmonie
Harmonie's website states "Quebec’s own Harmonie specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of products from customise polymer and wood mounted wood stamps, to scrapbooking papers and decorations, acrylic, wood and chipboard shapes to original albums." The company debuted a beautiful new line called "Shabby Love."
