Stamped Kraft Masking Tape with Alyssa McGrew

Today, we have a layout to share from Alyssa McGrew.

Alyssa stamped on our Kraft Masking Tape with border stamps for this layout!

Alyssa says: I was looking for a way to add a little more interest to this layout, so I decided to take one of my favorite border stamps and try stamping on the Kraft Masking Tape from the shop.  I love the way it worked!  I'l be doing this again soon.

Alyssa also used canvas butterflies and embossed tags to add even more texture to this bold layout.  To see more of Alyssa's work, click on her photo.

Kraft and Woodgrain Card with Jess Mutty

Today we have another amazing card to share, this one from DT Member Jess Mutty.

Jess says: Sometimes I really just love the simplicity of a neutral color scheme. You can really make the most of textures with basic kraft and white.  Today's card has lots of rich layers of paper doilies, felt, seam binding, rosettes, and more.

The background is from an embossed kraft bag with parts of white paper doilies on top.  The flower is actually formed from eight book page hearts folded in half.  I also used some fab white banner stickers and cut a notch in some doubled up kraft tape for coordinating banners.

Using Cork and Mini Clothes Pins to Make a Wedding Card with Andrea Amu

Today we have a lovely card to share, created by Design Team Member Andrea Amu.
Andrea used our mini clothes pins in a unique way on this card.  We love how she painted them and turned them into butterfly bodies.

Andrea also used Kraft Masking Tape, covering a sheet of cardstock with it, then embossing it.  We love her creative use for this staple item.

She attached them together at the back with hinges and extra-long brads. The small end of a Crop-A-Dile was used to create the holes.

Wood Berry Basket Smore Kit By Jess Mutty

I know the blog has been quiet for a bit and the shop was on vacation, but our doors are once more open and the blog up and going.

What better way to celebrate the dog days of summer than with Jess' sweet embellished berry basket?

****************************

I go to a lot of BBQs in the summer and sometimes I get tired of the same old hostess gifts.  Sure, we all love a bottle of wine but why not stand out with something a little more unique?

My S'mores Kit is adorable, inexpensive, and quick to assemble. And I bet the recipient will squeal with delight when she sees it!  All you need are some Curtsey Boutique supplies and your s'mores ingredients, of course.

The grahams are in a flat glassine envelope and tied with twine and a chalkboard label tag.  Then a classic Hershey's chocolate bar. The marshmallows go in the front, in a gusseted glassine bag, folded over and stapled, and topped with a glitter star, accordion circle, and a wood button.  Everything nestles nicely into a sweet wood berry basket with a seam binding bow.
