Project Life Layout with Alyssa McGrew

Project Life Layout

Alyssa McGrew

For this Project Life Page, I create the layout first, choosing some of my favorite photos from the week.  In this case, they are of my son, who was choosing to work diligently to balance his pencil on it's end.  In the process, he successfully avoided math homework for an entire 3 minutes.

After completing the layout, I used my scraps and several more items from the shop to complete my weekly spread.

Wedding Card with Jess Mutty

Wedding Card

Jess Mutty

It's nearly prime wedding season and I like to add a personal touch to all those gifts picked off of registries.

A handmade card for a wedding or engagement is likely one that will be kept forever.  I created a paper doily dress for this card and let it take center stage with a few pops of bright, sunny yellow.  I think the look is clean and fresh!

Alyssa McGrew's Walk the Walk Layout

Walk the Walk Together Layout

With 3 daughters I do a lot of pink and purple scrapbooking, so I love a good masculine centered layout - whether the focus be the men in my life doing something together, the color scheme, or the embellishments. Alyssa's "Walk the Walk Together" layout showcases all three of these beautifully.

Alyssa showcases our white chevron tags

and our silhouette die cuts.

Spring Wall Art with Andrea Amu

Spring Bloom Wall Art
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Andrea Amu

Though, it doesn't feel like here in Atlanta, yesterday was the first day of Spring. Andrea's with us today to help us celebrate the end of winter with this lovely Spring themed frame.

Andrea featured our new felt pansies and our butterfly and flower set showcasing up-cycled vintage fabrics.

She also used the Tim Holtz Spring Seasonal and Shattered Kraft Core collections from Core'dinations.

The nest and egg die cuts were created with the Cricut using the Picturesque cartridge.  She distressed the nest a little bit around the edges and then tucked in some Spanish Moss to add realistic texture!

Jess brings us the cutest tutorial today for a DIY envelope album. I absolutely love the kraft masking tape binding she created. Enjoy the tutorial!
