Week 30 Project Life Layout with Kat Benjamin

Week 30 Project Life
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Kat Benjamin
Kat shares her thoughts o her week 30 Project Life Layout

"I went heavy on the pink for this week's spread because one of the week's highlights was my best friend's baby shower.  She's having a little girl, so I used that as the perfect excuse to overload on one of my favorite colors!  The Curtsey Boutique has a lot of pink embellishments that worked really well for the look I was going for!"

Fresh Air Layout with Kat Benjam

Fresh Air 12x12 Layout
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Kat Benjamin
I always have a hard time when working with purple so I absolutely love Kat's layout today.  The contrast of the purple and blue on the white background is stunning and her flecks of color in enamel dotes and mists perfectly highlight the bright color and airy feel of her photographs. This one is definitely going to we a scraplift for me.

Love Always Mommy Layout by Lisa Spiegel

Love Always Mommy Layout
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Lisa Spiegel

Have you ever pulled out a coat or purse after having not used it in awhile and discovered a $10 bill? It is such a lovely unexpected surprise. The same thing happened to me today when I was doing a bit of inbox cleaning I found one more project from Lisa that I hadn't shared yet with you - a lovely surprise!

Lisa filled her layout with doilies, a library card, vellum bag and our shipping tags.

In her own words "I use all of these products on almost every layout I create!  I just love the subtle layering they allow and the ability to hide my journaling in the vellum bag is one of my best tricks to sharing meaningful journaling that you might not want everyone looking through your album to see."

Mini Library Card Notebooks with Kim Stewart

Mini Library Card Notebooks
Curtsey  Boutique Designer
Kim Stewart

Kim created a few mini notebooks using our monthly and daily library cards.

For these little books she just folded the library card in half and cut some lined paper to fit and then sewed them down the middle of the fold.  I painted a few water colored cards to glue on the top.

Curtsey Boutique blue and white baker's twine was the perfect finishing touch to bundle them up.

Connie shares quick and easy instructions for creating the tag border on her layout above. A great project to use up all those left over holiday tags.

1. Select 5 tags, 1 envelope and 1 mustache tag.  Ink around the edges if you like.

2. Use a hole punch to punch a small hole in the flap of the envelope.

3. Adhere a small piece of black cardstock behind the mustache tag.
4. Tie the orange twine on the tags and arrange them to your liking.

5. Adhere the tags to the page and add  decorative trim to the top of the banner/border.
