Week 30 Project Life Layout with Kat Benjamin

Week 30 Project Life
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Kat Benjamin
Kat shares her thoughts o her week 30 Project Life Layout

"I went heavy on the pink for this week's spread because one of the week's highlights was my best friend's baby shower.  She's having a little girl, so I used that as the perfect excuse to overload on one of my favorite colors!  The Curtsey Boutique has a lot of pink embellishments that worked really well for the look I was going for!"

In Kat's own words: "I intentionally saved Week 12, which included the first day of Spring, to make with Curtsey Boutique products. So many of the products in the shop are perfect for this time of year.  I love the bright, fun-colored doilies and shipping tags, as well as the sparkly butterflies!

Project Life Week #1 with CarrieAnne

Week #1 Project Life Layout
Curtsey Botuique Designer
CarrieAnne DeLoach

One of my New Year's resolutions is to successfully complete a Project Life album this year.  One thing that has always gotten in my way in the past is my dislike of my handwriting. I could of course print everything on the computer, but that has a tendancy to stop my momentum and than the layout stalls and than it just doesn't get finished.

So this year, I've decided to get over it - my handwriting, is my handwriting and that's that!  I love how easy our shipping tags make journaling and there are a few of them and our mini library cards on this layout.

This week was quite busy for us as we had out of town family visiting, a trip to a friends for New Year's Dinner, unpacking tons of boxes at our new house, football bowl games to watch and a trip to the Varsity - an Atlanta diner that is a landmark.

Project Life Layout with Alyssa McGrew

March Project Life Layout
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Alyssa McGrew

Alyssa shares another great Project Life spread with us today. So many of our small embellishments are perfect for Project Life projects.

The highlight of this particular week, at least for my children, was the 6-7" of snow that fell, immediately following a 60 F day.  We were all a little shocked by the rapid change in weather!  That did not keep my children from 3 days of endless playing in the snow.  Thankfully, it was all melted by the end of the week, in time for our move to a new home that weekend.   You never know what the weather will do here in Indiana!

Project Life Layout with Alyssa McGrew

Project Life Layout

For this Project Life Page, I create the layout first, choosing some of my favorite photos from the week.  In this case, they are of my son, who was choosing to work diligently to balance his pencil on it's end.  In the process, he successfully avoided math homework for an entire 3 minutes.

After completing the layout, I used my scraps and several more items from the shop to complete my weekly spread.
