Project Life Week #1 with CarrieAnne

Week #1 Project Life Layout
Curtsey Botuique Designer
CarrieAnne DeLoach

One of my New Year's resolutions is to successfully complete a Project Life album this year.  One thing that has always gotten in my way in the past is my dislike of my handwriting. I could of course print everything on the computer, but that has a tendancy to stop my momentum and than the layout stalls and than it just doesn't get finished.

So this year, I've decided to get over it - my handwriting, is my handwriting and that's that!  I love how easy our shipping tags make journaling and there are a few of them and our mini library cards on this layout.

This week was quite busy for us as we had out of town family visiting, a trip to a friends for New Year's Dinner, unpacking tons of boxes at our new house, football bowl games to watch and a trip to the Varsity - an Atlanta diner that is a landmark.

Just Talkin Together Layout with Connie Mercer - New Cork Shapes

Just Talkin Together Layout

Connie Mercer

Connie's layout is full of movement, color and layers. I love that she included so many of our dyed doilies and that her journaling was captured on one of our library cards. The cork elephant, bunny and dove are self adhesive and a new addition to the shop.

Mr. and Mrs. Wedding Card by Andrea Amu

Mr. and Mrs. Wedding Card
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Andrea Amu
I wanted to create this wedding card to have a vintage and homespun look all in one, emulating the style of my friend's wedding décor and theme.

I chose the vintage floral for the embossing and paired it perfectly with vintage touches of a pink floral fabric strip and a swatch of burlap from Curtsey Boutique.  The burlap was actually a section cut from one of the burlap bags.  I also cut strips of the burlap from the bag to use on a separate project!

Other supplies:
Anna Griffin floral Cuttlebug emboss folder and machine
Cricut Sweethearts cartridge and machine
Core'dinations cardstock
Clearsnap  chalk ink (pink)
Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist (Heirloom gold)
FloraCraft Diamond Dust glass glitter
