My True Love Card by Jess Mutty

My True Love Card
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Jess Mutty

I'm in the mood for romance this month and there are so many gorgeous offerings in the Curtsey Boutique shop to help create that mood.  Pretty ribbon, delicate doilies, and soft flowers have me feelin' the love!

I used soft pinks and grays on this card and the focal point is the canvas dress form on top of the gray doily.  I tied a pink seam binding bow around the waist. I also love the subtle embossed Xs and Os on the white tag.

And of course no Valentine can be complete without roses.  These rolled felt roses add the perfect dimension and texture to a card.

Shellye McDaniel
Shellye shares a beautiful layout with us just choc full of Curtsey Boutique goodies.  I love the burlap butterflies on this page and how beautifully the embossed polka dot background coordinates with the chevron tags - just lovely. She was even kind enough to provide a mini tutorial on how to make this custom textured background.

Burlap Valentine's Bag by Jennifer Cowles

Burlap Valentine's Treat Bag
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Jennifer Cowles

Jennifer is with us today sharing a treat bag, perfect for the Valentine in your life.

Here is a fun and easy bag for party favors or even for a special Valentine.  I used the red and white bakers twine and stitched a heart in the burlap, I went around a few times and then sewed a felt flower down.  Swap out the burlap string for a nice velvet ribbon and you are done.

Alyssa McGrew

Alyssa is with us today with a wonderful Congratulations card for a friend or loved one welcoming a new baby into their lives. I LOVE the colors in this card. They show babies don't always have to be all blue and pink. Front and center is one of our lovely fabric bows. They come in over 100 colors and patterns - perfect for all sorts of projects.

DIY Child Hair Accessories with Jess Mutty

Infant Headband
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Jess Mutty

Jess Mutty is here with us today, to share not only a wonderful DIY project, but these darling pictures of her little one. Isn't she precious!

"When I browsed the Curtsey Boutique store for the first time my mind immediately saw a ton of options to create adorable baby girl hair accessories.  How convenient that I happen to have a baby girl to embellish!

I used a variety of ways to attach the embellishments: an elastic, snappy clip, and a squeeze clip.  The felt flowers were hot glued directly onto the elastic.  I glued a felt backing and leaves to the snappy clip before adding the yellow flower and a small button.  And I backed the fabric bow with a small piece of crocheted lace to hide the clip.

There are so many sweet Curtsey Boutique flowers and bows I had a hard time choosing just these few... I see an entire hair accessory wardrobe for Lily in her future!"

Baby Shower Invite with Alyssa McGrew

Baby Shower Invitation
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Alyssa McGrew
Alyssa has a neat baby shower invitation to share with us today. It showcases how wonderfully our shipping tags fit in our small glassine bags.  Using one of our wood grain embossed tags as her base she stamped the "who, what, when, where and why" info on its center.  Adding a shabby chic butterfly was a great finishing touch.

I love the idea that by pulling out the tag you could reuse this card for another purpose,  eco-chic crafting!
