Jenifer shares with us today a quick and easy way to incorporate them in your hair. These headbands would be lovely for new baby photos, flower girls, and big birthday bashes. Our fancy blooms use no glue so sewing them on as embellishments is easy peasy.

Here are her easy 1-2-3 instructions:

1. Pick your elastic - it comes in tons of colors now a days
2. Measure your wearers head, cut elastic and tie a know 1" from the ends.
3. Sew on a Curtsey Boutique fabric flower with a few hand stitches.

Altered "Love" Embroidery Hoop by Jenifer Cowles

Altered Love Embroidery Hoop
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Jenifer Cowles

A quick walk through my local department stores this week revealed that everyone is getting ready for Valentine's Day. It seems scarcely possible with the ground still littered with fire work remnants, but there it is - red, pink and white hearts everywhere.

I thought we'd hop on the band wagon instead of fighting the love avalanche. Jenifer's altered embroidery hoop is a charming decoration to hang at home or give to a friend.
